Christmas Time!

Hurrah! It is almost Christmas Day. I have been giving lots of presents. I just could not wait to see my friends open their gifts! I prefer giving them early. I like giving presents more than receiving them. But I still do have a wish list. This is what I'd like: A Shirley Barber's collection book,(with poems and the mermaid story),a fairy dust neckless,(green dust), a music box glass ball with a fairy inside, a mini hymn book, and a grabber thing.(pulling back on lever causes top to close around something that's in it's grip.) Whatever I give or get, I am excited!

This Fall

Aye,aye, aye! This Fall has been busy. In school we are doing this thing called Creative Pursuits. My group, Amanda, Megan, Jacob, and Jake, went to District! And, when we were almost done with District, they told us we are going to State! We are doing that on Dec. 8th. I got my first 2 ribbons in my life at District. I wonder if we will get anything at State? Anyway, after that we got to go to Super Salad to celebrate.

One other thing that has been happening at school is a project called Reflections. The theme for it was "My Favorite Place". We can draw a picture, make a 3D sculpture, take a photograph, or videotape a movie of your favorite place. Another thing is to write a story or poem about it. I wrote a poem called "Nature". I think nature is a wonderful, peaceful place to be. And it makes up my favorite places like home, which is made out of wood. Well, we just had an assembly to anounce who had the best projects. And mine was one of them!!!!! I got the first trophy in my life. It is really cute. It has my name printed right on it. It also has a little picture of a book since I did a poem.

Just a little while ago, it was my Birthday. My present from my mom was a big, sort-of realistic tree. She got real branches from a pile down the street. She also got fake branches and a fairy from Ti Pan. So, we call it my "Fairy Tree". We are going to use it for our Christmas Tree this year.
My Aunt Bonnie sent me a lot of presents. She told me not to open the white envelope until last. Finally, the time came to open it. When I realized what it was, I could not believe it. She had sent me a meteorite!!!!!!!!!! I still can not decide which is better, the meteorite or the Fairy Tree. I know the meteorite is worth more, but I love the Fairy Tree as well. I am glad I have to compare. Over all, I think it was a wonderful Fall!!!
