I got braces! I completely forgot to write about it on here, but I got braces this summer! I picked a light blue color. I'm going to get my bottom braces on the second day of school, a little more than a week away. I don't know if I'll change the color then.
My mouth ached for a long time when I first got them, and I would only eat soft foods. But they are great now.
I like my braces!

I am part of a wonderful family with my younger brother and the best mom and dad in the world. I am in my sophomore year of high school. My mom is a fantastic flight attendant, and my dad is in on the long road to becoming a doctor. My brother is in Jr. High. I love my family!

Thanks! I think my bottom ones will usually look like the top ones, but I'm not positive.
I remember my ortho giving me a note for my teachers asking them to permit me to chew gum in class whenever he tightened my braces because the pressure of chewing helped me get past the really sore phase. Only my English teacher agreed but man was it fun being able to chew gum during that one hour of school each day.
I love braces they always look SO cute I want them but I don't need them!
