Trip to D.C.

This week we went to D.C. and saw so many cool sites like the Washington Monument, the Lincoln memorial and we even saw Whitehouse a bit behind the trees. We also went to the Botanical garden and the Capitol with my aunt Suzie. We saw many old friends in DC and Maryland and Virgina while we were there. We had a great time. It was tons of fun!!!

Washington DC is one of my favorite cities to visit. Wish I could have been there with you all! I'm glad you're having a good time and learning things too. :-)

Hi Bonnie,

Sounds like a fantastic trip. I was only a little older than you are the first time I went to D.C. and I loved going to see all the monuments. Later I went back to a place near there and got to work for a while at the Patuxent National Wildlife Preserve, training baby Sandhill Crane birds to follow a truck so we could help them migrate. We had to dress like cranes in these white ponchos and hoods so that the birds wouldn't know we were human. We also had to screech and flap our arms like cranes. It was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to hearing more about your trip. Please send me a postcard if you can and I will put it on the fridge next to the other ones you have sent. :) Love you! ~Aunt Bonnie

P.S. Please tell Brandon that Milo says hello. ;)
